When I started planning my wedding with my bride-to-be, I did not really understand just how much everything was going to cost. I knew that weddings were expensive, but I did not realize that just about every little thing that goes into a wedding costs a lot of money.

If you are willing to be flexible on the type of fancy paper that you use, you can often get heavy weight, high-quality paper for a very good price. We have a mutual friend who has an extremely high tech, fancy printer, so we decided to print out our discounted wedding invitations over there.
Does Saving Money Make Us Cheap?
By the time we were done, we had saved hundreds of dollars on cheap wedding invitations. Some people might accuse us of being cheapskates, but our cheaper wedding announcements look just as good as if they had been done by a professional shop, and we saved a lot of money by making them. Now, we can add in that fancy restaurant to visit during our honeymoon!
