What do you think of a bridal gown rental shop?
With planning a wedding and looking at dresses, I was wondering if a Bridal rental shop would be a good idea. I always hear people say that guys are lucky becuz they can rent a tux, but girls have to BUY their dresses.
How much would you be willing to rent a gown for?
Around here, just getting a wedding gown cleaned would cost around 0.00 Alterations might cost another 0. If that’s the case, a gown rental would have to cover that and THEN some, wouldn’t it? So that would defeat the purpose.
Bridesmiad dresses might be a bit better. I think they cost the same as any other dress for cleaning. Maybe –
Girls, would you rent a gown? If so, how much would you pay to rent vs. buy?
I am not looking for one for myslef. I did get my gown for my wedding… it was just something that I was curious about. I just wondered how many women would actually rent it. The groom rents his tux, usually. Guys are soooo unsentimental! LOL

Our wedding will be a medium sized I guess. around 150 guests. Our theme is pink and champagne. I do prefer to have an all white gown.
Also to add. I tried it on and really liked it. The boutique will do a bit of alterations though.
Also, they would make sure that they make it so that I can somehow but the long part back in when I dance. Otherwise, like someone had already mentioned someone may continually step on it.
Is it appropriate to wear your bridal lingerie to your gown fitting?
I want to wear a corset under my wedding gown, but I want to make sure it will fit under my gown when I go to get it measured for alterations. Is is appropriate to wear a sexy (but tasteful) corset to my fitting?
Seamstresses and bridal gown salespeople opinions would be great! Thanks!
