I may just not get it since I am a guy, but what is the point of a bridal shower and a bachelorette party? Do the ppl give gifts at the shower like a baby shower? then why would they need to have a shower if they are giving gifts at the wedding? Or is it just an interchangable thing?

I am the maid of honor for my sisters wedding and I need some ideas for the bachelorette party. There are 4 bridesmaids (including myself) and our younger sister is only 13 and I want her to be included in the party too. The wedding is in 9 months, but I am trying to get ideas now to make planning that much easier. Any suggestions would be awesome!

I’m wondering if one is supposed to bring some sort of present to a bachelorette party? The invitation said to meet at a amusement park and then everyones coming back to her apt. for a meal and such. It doesn’t say anything about where she’s registered or anything. What do you think?

I am getting married in august and my sister is planning the bachelorette party but one of my girls in the wedding is under age and can’t get into any of the bars. Does any one have ideas as to what we can do and keep the party tame? help
