My Husband and I decided to get married asap in 07 but because of circumstances at that time neither of us could do anything about we had a quick ceremony with family and friends. Neither of us dressed up for ceremony in formal clothing. I do not regret the choice we made of not waiting to have a formal ceremony , but i do want to have pictures of myself in a Bridal Gown. Is this a silly idea almost 2yrs later?

My fiance and I are planning to have a courthouse wedding ceremony this May with close family and friends. Then a few days later we are planning to have a huge wedding reception for everyone to come and celebrate our union.

The problem is, I don’t know that "correct" words or phrase to use on the wedding reception invitations without sounding offensive to those who may have not been invited to the ceremony.

So, what is a good way to word my wedding reception invitations?

i’ve always wanted a really wonderful wedding with all my family and friends, but now im in the real world both our families and ourselves are limited on money right now. what are some good money saving tips, but still be able to have a nice wedding.
