My wedding is in 2 years, but I’m thinking that it is going to take that long finding my gown. I’m not interested in a white gown. Traditionally speaking I’m not supposed to anyway. But I really would like to have an ivory/cream colored gown with a dusty rose color underneath. I’m having a hard time finding anything on the web. Do I contact fabric stores, go to bridal shops, how do i find information on any wedding gowns?

Planning weddings are hard.

I read online that polyester wedding gowns can be turned inside out and washed in cold water (by hand or in the machine on the gentle cycle). I have tried washing mine by hand (in the bathtub!) using a generic version of Woolite, but there are some stubborn greyish stains on the bottom edge of the skirt (from walking on pavement). Has anyone out there tried using Oxy Clean on a wedding/bridal gown? Thanks for your help!

Does anyone have a suggestion of a website for buying wedding dresses that are not WHITE. My sister and I are planning a double wedding ceremony for ourselves. We are middle aged, it is the 2nd marriage for both. We are unable to find decent gowns that are not white. We’ve looked at designer wedding gowns, bride maids dresses and mother of the bride outfits. Please advise
